2nd & 3rd Party Transfers
We've expanded our Transfers endpoint to support both 2nd and 3rd Party transfers via ACH transfer types.
When Brale is initiating a transfer on behalf of our customer or our customer's customer, it can be confusing to see Brale's name show up on the transfer. This is where the power of 2nd and 3rd party transfers comes in as it enables the receiver of these transfers to see our customer's or our customer's customer's name on the transfer.
To learn more and see how this can benefit your business, schedule a meeting to talk to sales.
Creating 2nd/3rd Party Transfers
POSThttps://api.brale.xyz/accounts/account_id/transfers
Below are identical API calls with the exception of what account_id is used to make the call.
account_id: 1111=Company Alpha- This is Brale's direct customer
account_id: 2222=Company Beta- This is Company Alpha's direct customer
The name associated with the Account will show up on the transfer, which makes it easier for the receiver to identify and reconcile the transfer.
Example of a 2nd Party Transfer
POSThttps://api.brale.xyz/accounts/account_id/transfers
account_id = 1111
The name on this transfer, name on the ACH transaction of the receiving end, will be Company Alpha.
